With the current rules, in my opinion the correct decision was made.

Imo .... this was NOTHING LIKE the Wyllie Hall objection ;)

The 3rd horse was shifting out and the winner was shifting in - so they came together and the third horse then proceeded to bump the 2nd horse costing her the race imo.

However .... the Stipes must have been of the opinion (correct imo) that the 3 rd horse would never have beaten the winner - so that result can't be changed.

The winner never directly impeded the 2nd horse (the 3rd horse did) so the 2nd horse can't object against the winner ... so imo according to the rules, the result should stand - not fair, but those are the rules

They have had indirect objections in the past with the outcome upheld.

Only problem is the winner knocked the 3rd horse into the 2nd horse, causing him to turn and thus lose the race, although there is no contact between 1st and 2nd, the winner by bumping the 3rd, caused the 2nd horse to lose the race and should have been demoted imo
