Kenilworth Saturday June 10 tips and race previews by Warren Lenferna…

Race 1
Preview: CASUAL DIAMOND has improved each time she has come to the races and besides the unknown first timers at this stage, she looks, of the raced runners, very hard to beat. She ran her best race last time over 1200m but today reverts to the five furlong trip. PUMEZA caught the eye on debut when nearly winning and causing the upset at long odds on debut – she can improve to go very close again. FREEDOM CHARTER made a fair start to her racing career – she can improve and is one that must be included and followed. (Warren Lenferna 2-12-5)

Race 2
Preview: PUBLIC PROSECUTOR ran a good race on debut finishing fourth behind Lacerta. She is beautifully bred and has tons of scope to improve off that excellent debut effort. If she improves and is not too green, she will prove a very hard horse to peg back. CAPAILL finished second to a smart sort on debut and can improve to go even closer than her margin last time – massive runner! RUSH HOUR GIRL is one to watch and expect improvement from. Her debut effort was fair and with that run and experience under her belt, she can go very close here. (Warren Lenferna 8-3-10)

Race 3
Preview: COUNTING STARS is lightly raced compared to some of the others here and they also seem, to now be battling! Counting Stars has had only FOUR career starts and has done well showing improvement from run to run. She looks set to go one better here today and is tipped with confidence. COSSACK GUARD keeps running second. He will win soon but for today he looks a certainly to earn a cheque and could well run second again! HARVEY SPECTOR must be included in the trifecta and quartet. (Warren Lenferna 2-1-3)

Race 4
Preview: TIME TO THINK now looks ready or should I say is overdue to win and today looks to be her ideal opportunity – if she cannot win today in this field then she might take a while to free from the maiden ranks. SEATTLE SILVA is way better than her last run shows and should run a big race. JURUPARI has been selected as the value bet on today’s card. Her last run was encouraging and one gets the feel that she has a lot more improvement to come and can run a place here. BRING ME MORE showed good improvement from run one to run two and should once again be in the firing line. (Warren Lenferna 1-2-3)

Race 5
Preview: OFF BROADWAY did very well when tried over 1400m last time. He has finished second in his last two starts and could be a very tough nut to crack this afternoon. He was odds-on last time but just failed – he can most certainly be given another chance and looks very hard to beat. TWO BROTHERS is coming along the right way and is seldom far off the action – he has a very bright place chance. DAYONAUT is fairly well tried but is now knocking loudly at the door and cannot be ignored. Two year olds CYBER LAW and SPECTRA FORCE might find it a touch tough against older hard knocking rivals but they are young and improving and probably have a lot still to offer – include them in trifectas and quartets.

Race 6
Preview: COLORADO ROSE is taking her time to win but is now knocking very hard at the door – she looks ready to go one better now. LADY LI LAY is lightly raced and has the come on look about her – her second run was encouraging when running on behind stable mate Riverboat Queen – she has a lot more scope for improvement and if this is the case she should make a race of it. SANDY BAY is becoming frustrating to follow but in saying that she should win soon and cannot be excluded from the quartet. (Warren Lenferna 1-8-2)

Race 7
Preview: TWILIGHT TRIP won his maiden in his penultimate start and followed that up with another win beating Annigoni. He seems to not win by large margins but he certainly knows where the finish line is – I can see no reason why he cannot reel off the hat trick. PLATINUM PRINCE and FRIENDLY TIBBS as well as RED PERIL and RAHVAR all have fair enough form to finish in the money part of the race. (Warren Lenferna 6-5-1)

Race 8
Preview: LINE BREAK has some solid form and seems best over the 1200m trip which he reverts to today. He has ability and is one that can never be ignored and always has an each way chance. CABALLO BLANCO ran a good race last time despite being denied victory in the shadow of the post. FIRE MASTER has solid form and deserves another career win soon – he should be right there at the finish. (Warren Lenferna 1-6-3)

Race 9
Preview: AMARILLO ROSE runs her heart out and boasts some very bright consistent form. This form is way good enough and more than sufficient to win a maiden race like this and she has been selected as the horse to win this race. COLOUR MAGIC from the Vaughan Marshall stable also goes well over these distances but now will have to overcome a dreadful draw. RED GRANITE is way better than her last run reflects and can be given another chance – it would be silly to exclude her from the quartet. (Warren Lenferna 7-3-2)

Race 10
Preview: ROCKETEER is showing bright signs of coming back to winning ways and looks set and ready to record his second career win. Aldo Domeyer gets the ride on him this afternoon and they get a fair enough draw. STORM FRONT ran an improved race last time at long odds and will need to confirm that recent improvement – if he does, he should be able to earn again and will be worth including in the quartet. FLYING RYAN ran a good second last time and if he were to go one better and win, it would be no shock at all but in saying that they all might have to run some to beat the first choice, Rocketeer. (Warren Lenferna 3-11-10)

I've got a share in MIDTOWN MANHATTAN R9 - if they get that far... weather looks mighty overcast in CPT.
She is drawn in the shiiiit house AGAIN - same as last time.... if the appy can get her midfield from that draw with 500m to go, she is in with a shout from rock bottom weight..... tough ask though & should NOT BE JOINT FAVOURITE now @ 6 / 1
