Good win from the first timer there.Sherman Brown probably took the wrong decision to go down the inside rail with the favorite.Didn't seem to want to go through the small gap all the way down the lane and it only opened up late but might have run second but not sure it would have beaten Marsala.

I think both of the first 2 look promising . Marsala from that Nacarat line so did put a small bet on but the Nel horse did look going down as well.

As always with Scottsville though some horses will have found some flat patches in the going so can be forgiven.

:lol: very favourable results I must say.

I think La Revere could surprise Clifton Sunset later on. She's highly regarded by the Drier stable and was taken to the Cape. She's definitely got ability - we'll see how fit she is. I guess even Plume del toro isn't out of it at a much higher price too.
