Sorry CT, not my kind of card today, Two complete idiots, though both unfortunately come from the very wishful thinking basket of hope rather than proper belief...

R7 Noordhoek's Speed, unfortunately finished lame in penultimate and a 19 week rest followed. Comeback run was disappointing but might have needed it badly and also looked like she took a bump or two at the start. Horse may have lost "confidence" etc from the injury but perhaps worth chancing a little on her at the massive odds, she was pretty consistent through her maidens and only 3 runs back she was a 3/4 length 2nd to fav here Black Jade and meets her on 6kg better terms.

R8 Angie Bee, horse appears to have completely forgotten how to run as was certainly not the worst in Gauteng. But, was reportedly coughing in first 2 PE outings and then took a 14 week break, returned with two poor draws on the poly (the second of which was over 1200) and now has 3rd run after the rest. If, and sure it might be a very big if, she retains most of her ability from Gauteng then, if all is well and the applied blinkers help rather than hinder, she just might run a very big race at a huge price off a very low weight.
