I wonder what the selection criteria for the race? If it is MR then Kinaan who is priced up as favorite by Hollywood would battle to get in as there are 23 horses with higher ratings.

mdk comments on the July preview show was very positive

reckon prepped specifically for this race

Not querying MDK being positive about his chances just saying that if the field is selected on merit rating he will need quite a few to pull out for him to get into the race off an 85 rating.

only the winner was eligible for a maximun of a 6 pound penalty last time unless the connections of the other runners asked for an increase so a few ran well above their ratings including mdk horse ..YET ANOTHER PERFECT EXAMPLE OF HOW EXTERNAL PEOPLE HAVE FUCKED UP OUR HANDICAPPING SYSTEM..
