Vaal Outside

Race 1: State Of Motion(8) 10-1 I like this filly today, watch her 2 runs to date was hopelessly outpaced and ran on in the end but ran out of racetrack. Now 1600m UP HER ALLEY. Only thing I am worried about is that it’s a grooms race. Princess Tin Tin(7) 33-10 has a shout along with the favourite Noceur(1) 15-10 & a disappointing Chapati(2) 5-1.
Selection: 8 - 7 - 1 - 2

Race 2: Aquila Warrior(1) 15-10 Ran an ok debut against stronger and will walk in here. First timer General Mao(3) 7-2 & well backed Dynasty first timer Noble Secret(5) 8-10
Selection: 1 - 5 - 7 - 3

Race 3: Phillydelphia(10) 33-10 is very fast & I think this 1000m will suit her down to the ground. She has been equipped with the blinkers again and will help her cause. She has been fading late over 1200m/1450m lately but will keep going here. Opera(7) 3-1 is improving and well bred Ilha Da Var(3) 4-1 look to improve. Flying Falcon(2) 11-2 & Kutamba(4) 8-1 have place chances
Selection: 10 - 2 - 7 - 4 - 3

Race 4: Gonnafly(10) 19-10 is MY BEST BET ON THE CARD. If Zackey can get him closer to the pace he will shit in. Imperial Ounce(1) 5-2 has a lot of issues hence the rest close to each other. Take swg with Rayo(11) 16-1 also coming back from rest but has strengthened up and ready to start his 3yr old career. The rest are a struggling bunch.
Selection: 10 - 11 - 1- 2

Race 5: Hyperactive(3) 16-10 Won by under a length but could have won further eased up at the 50m already and still ran in good time. The 2yr old Pillaroftheearth(2) 17-10 shows pace. Outsider Alex The Great(5) 15-2 will be there in the places
Selection: 3 - 2- 5 - 6

Race 6: Vulcan(10) 4-1 He Is a strong frontrunner & this fast 1400m vaal straight will suit him. Has a nice galloping weight and should win. Forest Fox(1) 6-1 has run to stronger but has 62,5kg to carry which is 8kg more than my selection. Shukamisa(2) 4-1 also has run to stonger and will be competitive
Selection: 10 - 1 - 2 - 8 - 7

Race 7: Bold Coast(1) 13-10 Since the rest he has sprung to good form, running third then winning on his coconut 2nd time after rest. This is his 3rd run and will continue to win as he is still an improving 3yr old. Others are weak, Play Misty For Me(7) 10-1 is my outsider place bet. He ran in a MR80 2 runs back finishing 3,25 behind Maximizer which is better than this field bar my top selection. Only issue I have is he is drawn on the wrong side of the track
Selection: 1 - 7 - 15 - 5

Race 8: Winning Sister(6) 9-2 I like her today especially this distance. 2 runs back she ran behind Goodytwoshoes who in turn won again. At A Glance(2) 4-1 was 2,50 back and his 1.5kg worse off. Pearl Valley(7) 11-2 the danger was in front of my selection that same race 1.25 but is 1.5kg worse off so they will be close to each other. The only problem is she is drawn 1 which is the wrong side of the track. Unknown quantity is Babuska Story(1) 6-1 the 2yr old carrying top weight
Selection: 6 - 7 - 8 - 12 - 2

Race 9: Main Baby(8) 5-1 Ran a cracker behind Goodytwoshoes and I expect her to win today. Last Girl Standing(7) 33-10 won last time out and has to carry 1kg more than carded but was beaten by Main Baby on the 25 May run. Main Baby is 2kg better off on that run hence the selection. Angel Of Light(5) 14-1 is my outsider place chance along with Mrs Bader(2) 8-1 who ran behind a top sort last time out. Green Crest(10) 8-1 & Inkolo(13) 6-1 have been consistent lately and they come into the reckoning.
Selection: 8 - 5 - 7 - 2 - 10 - 13

on haddingtons run behind daffiq well under sufferance would give him a top 4 chance here ..didnt take the penalty and comes in 4kg under sufferance here ..previous winner franked the form to daffiq

Why is this track so unfair? If you drawn on the outside you got a huge advantage over the inside horses. Why the advantage on the outside and can anything be done to the track to make it fair for all?

In race 5 ,Zackey was drawn 1,took the horse to the outside to win, just reinforces the draw bias.

R2: The Dynasty baby finding all the support - but to me it is not that clear cut - should be better over further, so no value; Aquila Warrior moderate debut, but obvious chance in this weak field; joker in the pack may be the other first timer - who knows?

R3: Opera improved a lot in her 2nd start behind Claremorris who came out to win again on Tuesday - the one to beat imo; Ilha da Var is finding betting support, but on her debut ran behind Flaying Falcon, so needs improvement; Phillydelphia has lost the plot after two good first runs can win IF she comes back to that level of form, but her recent runs have not been great.

R4: Gonnafly improving steadily and could be good enough to win here; Imperial Ounce probably the main danger; Combat Muster made a good debut and a repeat of that run would bring him into contention here; Swing Vote very moderate imo

R5: Interesting Novice Handicap, where the ratings of the two Magner juveniles are being put to the test; Hyperactive could still be ahead of the handicapper after a cosy debut win over 1200 and is probably the right one; imo there will not be a lot between the juveniles at the weights and both need inclusion; Water Lily Lake needs improvement to feature imo

R6: Shukamisa is very capable and rates the one to beat imo; obvious chances to Nephrite and Vulcan, while Forest Fox, Silver Sails and William Nicol need inclusion for bigger players

R7: Bigger fields as we move along, and the draw may be a factor in the last 3 races .... Bold Coast deserved favorite, bit both the Tarry runners have outside draws and both need inclusion imo; if the draw does not play a part, Our Miracle can feature, while the roughie Haddington is upset material - good penultimate run in a Graduation behind Daffiq and draw very wide next time

R8: Toughest race on the card imo, can't find too many that stand out - if the outside draws are favored, then At a Glance is one of the leading lights; Winning Sister can't be ignored and if the inside draw is not too much of a handicap, Beautiful Shay can easily outrun them all; the juvenile Babuska Story has a big weight, but after the July, I tend to respect the handicapper

R9: Another low-level fillies and mares handicap; Last Girl Standing finally found the winner's box on Tuesday and was only given a few points for that win, so has an obvious chance again if the run has not taken too much out of her; Main Baby also rates a chance, and depending on the draw bias, Mrs Bader and Green Crest could also feature; imo Angel of Light on her best form also in with a chance - not easy

Enjoy B)

Much easier than KZN :P .... Just regarding the draw, unfair on the horses yes, but as punter can be an advantage B)
