Looking at this field i see it's made up of JHB and CAPE runners only.No KZN runners in there champion season to represent them.The standard of racing in KZN has dropped to an all time low imo,i don't know why kzn trainers are so weak atm,but maybe it has something to do with the introduction of poly racing.this is just my humble opinion.maybe other posters know or have a better idea as to the shocking state of kzn racing,but hey the show goes on year after year and no solution in site for the kzn trainers to become competitive in their own champion season!

But the class of KZN runners has always been of lower mediocre. Certainly in the past two decades.

Of the others, only Deo Juvente and Table Bay have a squeak. The other 6 are outclassed.

Im hoping Bela can skip away from them

I really like the idea of the 2 day festival and I am going to try and get down to the coast
