How does this scoring work and how do we know how we did?? Just for interest sake.

You are in 25th place, need a miracle to win this competition but it is still possible.

the scoring is as follows:
1- You have a fictitious bet consisting of R 100.00 win and R 100.00 place for each race carded.
2- The Main Race Carded counts two fold - R 200.00 a place and a win.
3- You have to nominate a race of your own choice to count two fold.
4- You may nominate the main race, which already counts two fold, to be your two fold value race. In so doing you are actually getting the payout four fold should your selection be in the money.
Your entry must be in before the start of the first race. No editing after racing has began. Our well "seasoned" clanner Magi, is the Moderator, and his decision on the outcome of the competition is final - He is the Law!!!

just want to run my scores by you as I don't get the same totals as you
hope you don't mind

In my NO 1 selections I had South Sails
It paid R16 a win and R3.30 a place =R19.3 x R200 = R3860 (it was the main race) -R2200 =+R1660

please let me know if my calculations is wrong
