BBC Sport:

Police are investigating after Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling was the subject of what they are treating as a "hate crime".

It was reported Sterling was racially abused and attacked on Saturday after arriving at City's training ground.

Greater Manchester Police said it had been "made aware that a 23-year-old man had been subject to a racially aggravated assault on Clayton Lane".

The club has not commented on the allegation.
