Played the double with Mighty Mercury R2. The older horses in the race look pretty average, but take note of any support for first timer, Optima, who jumps from stall gate 1 and gets the apprentice allowance. If allowed to control the pace of the race, Mighty Mercury may out-sprint them.

It is my opinion (still) that one must head to the outside rail when entering the straight... so I floated the favourite with 1,4,5,10,11,12 for qtet ...and bankered the favourite with the same numbers for the trifecta.

We knew Mighty Mercury's fate even before the race started.Marcus should have told the vet to scratch the horse as it was obvious it did not want to run today.Think Sheldon was happy that one got beaten too.
