FF is just a silly little boy with little constructive to say. We need positive people that are part of the solution . Craig is part of the solution making a contribution . FF just a boy amongst men.

Don't you think we can stop worrying about Clairwood? It is gone, never to come back. Lets move on. Think of ways of making what we have better? Be positive?

Being positive doesn't seem to have helped you train more winners, is that the BS you feed your owners?

FORM FUNDI, I haven't a clue who you are or what your claim to fame is in the horse racing industry, but to have made a comment like that to a "gentleman" and somebody who has been in racing for over 30yrs, you are an absolute arsehole.

Why do you feel the need to attack me or correct me, I repeat it's my opinion if you don't agree you are entitled to your opinion. Attacking me or coming to Craig's defence won't change the fact that selling Clairwood was the wrong decision and won't change Craig's stat's either. Just calling it as I see it.

Not nice being attacked, is it? The difference is, no one knows you or me for that matter. It's different for people like Craig etc. It's comments/opinions like this that keep others away from sharing their views.

There is nothing wrong with constructive, intelligent debate.

Lionel, do you have any constructive ideas for improving the situation / condition of the Greyville track?

Rowdy, maybe we are both out of line by making this personal, Craig I apologise, hope your fortunes improve over the coming months.

MissT, please get your facts straight....Having money or being a successful trainer doesn't change your race the last I checked.

Form fundi, I am not stupid. I know we had a very mediocre season. The thought that I lie to my owners is ludicrous and could be very damaging to me if someone believed that rubbish. I would love to know who you are and your experience in racing. It would give anything you say more credibility. Not one person answered when I asked in anothet thread that if Mike de Kock or Dennis Drier took a horse from me and improved it 10m over a 1000m, does that mean he is a 1% better trainer than me? If by the day I die I can get one thing through to people I will be happy. After my 40yrs in this great game, the horse is nearly everything. Jockeys and Trainers are the very minor factors in winning a race. I think I am part of the solution as I am in the game, on Trainers committee and do try help where can with new ideas and helping anyone that asks.

Craig, your points above are noted, I think we have taken this post off it's original intent. I think you, me and several of the posters could go back and forth discussing the pro's and con's of the conditions of the track, the state of racing in this country etc..
