I would like to think Gunther has the pick but Live It Up Race one has been rested so there could be another angle but its my type of place odds

Race 4 Corrie Lensley looks to hold the aces here and it would not be a surprise if he comes away with most of the stakes on offer

Race 5 Difficult to come up with a selection and be confident about it but i am 'narrowing' it down to Rocket Falls,Sky Full Of Stars,Bold Man and Seattle Wonder. The latter does not have much to carry and the race will tell whether he can see out the testing 1800m.That aside i like him and looks the one with a bit of scope. My next best would be Rocket Falls because this must be his best distance but was reported not striding out last run.

Race 6 The handicapper left August Duke alone when winning two runs back and was only penalized three points when second in his next start. So he looks to have an advantage over a horse like Anyday Anytime who was five lengths behind in the race won by August Duke and penalized five merit points for winning his next start

Problem with this track is that you can make a case for 90% of the runners on any given day. Very rare to find a standout or even just three contenders.

Its more that competitiveness of each race that makes it hard to play than anything sinister.

Should be a limit as to how many horses one trainer can enter in a race.....if the trainers are playing lotto....what about the punter

Time to rock and roll boys

Autumn Annie (1)
First run and will be green . Nr 1 countess varovski looks like the best bet of the day. 5/2 is a huge price.

Il Palio (2)
Big drop in ratings and start improving again. Expect a big run in this class.
I will include 2,3 and 6 in plays with IL palio

Mogok's Doll (3)
Can definitely place in this field.
Will include 1, 3, 4 and 11 in bets.

Blue Hydrangea (4)
Can run in the money and sneak a place.

U Reign (4)
Expect a massive run but will include 1, 2 and 7 in bets.

For Ever (5)
Big runner and drop in ratings weight all in his favor. Will banker in some bets. Go very wide otherwise.

Jet Sailor (6)
Had a tooth absess but rates him to have a big chance still.

Roaring Tiger (6)
Great last 2 runs , can go close.
Others to include with both stable runners are 2,3,4 and 9

Ho'oponopono (7)
In too strong field, will struggle .
Will have 1,2,3,6,7 and 9 in bets.

On The Thames (8)
Place chance, include 1,2,5,6,7,8,10,11 in bets

Devious Tiger (9)
Big runner

Excalivar (9)
Bug runner
