Race 1: The Zenzero form should be very strong. Turf Conqueror finished sixth in that race and is the only one to have raced thereafter - finishing 2nd in his next start. The Pivots then have to be Mighty Mississippi and Prince Ardent. Mighty Missisipi has raced this C&D a number of times with a 50% in the money strike rate - and the question then being why he hasn't been able to get out of the maidens - has he come out of that race fine? The best we could expect is that he equal his peak effort today - but horses don't usually run two subsequent peak efforts. This brings the 3Y Prince Ardent into play, was slow away behind zenzero but still got to within 1/2 a length, is lightly raced, has a 100% in the money effort at the C&D and must have scope for improvement. these two are about 1/2 Length over the track median - so we would be looking for a very good sort, that adapts to the poly well - if we want to beat them. - I don't find anything like that on the Polytrack. Perhaps one of the turf horses might be that - but Prince Ardent looks a useful wager.

Come on Veale you know where the golden highway is.No lack of trying though.Nothing has changed with the quality of horses running on friday nights. The Cape and TVL trainers can clean up here if they raid.

That looks to be a nice horse - It's always difficult to predict how a horse is going to make the switch from turf to polytrack, a totally different action is needed, so that indeed looks a decent horse.

Prince Ardent continues to look smart - and had to do some work here -- should open his account soon.

Roy's Riviera should be hard to beat IF taking to the poly, saver on Al's Bells.

Race 2: There is very weak polytrack form here. So I am going to go to the money horses Coral Queen and On The Bounce. - Let's hope Coral Queen can finish in front of On The Bounce.

Race 3: Very poor polytrack form of those raced, and nothing really stands out - MISS MILANNA promising turf run behind Marsala and was well supported on debut - this may be the one here.

looks like the market is going to be the best indicators - horses being backed in from 30 & 20's to favourites :)

Al's Bells needs a drop in trip.

Silly me forgot RR made her debut on the poly. Nice turn of foot once the gap was found - dangerous riding though? Hope fallers okay
