Race 4: Apollos Gift - 3rd run after rest , form solid , good draw worth a nibble at 4/1
Race 7: Christmas Carol very close to Crackpot at the weights on previous meeting between these 2 at 6/1 compared to 2/1 Crackpot , worth a nibble imo

Best bet: Apollo's Gift. Has been impressive in his last 2 runs at Fairview. Should go very close today.
Value bet: Off the bit. He has been running against much better. I think the 1600 will suit him. With Charles aboard he should be given a very honest ride.

Afternoon All, as usual looks tough but I'm firmly in the camp of MAMBA MANIA in the first and the stable to follow up in the second with SCENT.

Race 5 - MAVERICK GIRL looks a real contender here...

Race 6 at the prices I like DESSERT CHIEF, been improving each start and although there are probably many others to consider, at 16/1 I think it's good eachway value.
