Shit Dave you have just given ammo to the Craig’s with your thread heading
Wait until they have another meeting at Flamingo. We will blast it to the front

Was going to post the same when it was approaching a hundred entries but apart from what Dave says a thread has its own energy and i believe Bokked and GregoryPillays posts were catalyst and it built up from there.Adams posts were also interesting

My very limited experience of Durban
Wake up in the morning
Complain about the heat at 10 in the morning
Curse and swear at the mossies
Go to the beach but be careful of the Sharks, no not the rugby team who are pretty awful but the ones that live in the sea
Walk along the Marine Parade whilst laughing at the highway surfers with their bleached hair
Go watch some cricket at an old run down stadium where the match is decided on the sea tide
Eat an over rated curry
Go to a club at night and all you hear from the patrons is I tune you this and I tune you that the vibes are lekker bru. I will get you a beer now now. Did you check that wave bro? No why? They all caught a broadly on the cooker. All wearing their flip flops and shorts.
Maybe they are more horssie inclined but they sure can’t ride or train in Durban as all they have is a narrow green track and some sand with a huge empty grandstand on race day. Nah Durban’s not for me.

....the reason why there may be more participation in these KZN meetings is that they are largely stand alone events with little side show international meetings like that of Saturdays where one is too busy with UK Cape Turffies....my participation today was only because I was not that involved with the mediocre card but landed up betting on races that were too trappy for level headed participation.....I lack discipline.....

i don't even watch kzn racing off season.the weakest horses by miles compared to the cape and jhb.only reason many pages because punters think they get graft, but most graft is wrong because of the poor calibre of fields and poor horses, but that is only my opinion.

Not a bad summary CNC , let me try sum up the average person in the UK
Yob 1 : Wanna go to the pub for a pint
Yob 2 : Cant , im waiting for my dole payout so I'm skint
Yob 3: Don't worry I just robbed some old lady in a wheelchair of her dole money , first rounds on me
And this is at 7am

nasty nasty nasty.

Yobs cant afford going to the pub any longer, they buy 4 cans for a pound and drink it in the car park
Yob 2 now use their dole money to buy track suits and white trainers from burberry
Yob 3 usually gets beaten up by the old ladies in wheelchairs with their handbags. :woohoo: :
