Winning Form, along with replays, is all I need - never used formgrids a lot so not a big issue that it's down.

Hi There guys

New to this site but was reading comments on where to study I handicap and I use several forms (winning form, comp form) a Race Card, and then I get input from trainers and some jocks via email then there are some online sites that give good insight like Fromgrids but they be off for some time trying to recover their stuff (understand where they coming from had same problem rebuilding my site as well)

Generally there is that one card that you read and like and understand that's the one to use because the more info the harder it gets to decide on that "Right Horse" and throws you off the winner.

Handicapping is art like painting it takes time to prefect but what a joy when it comes together and you strike it then all those hours sitting reading taking notes and stress

That why you must LOVE racing to make money from it

Andrew

Computaform Gallop and winning form -old site. Cannot use their new beta site.

I can import the old winning form site into a spreadsheet and run a macro that automatically generates speed benchmarks for me. cannot do that on any other site - even form grids, would need me to import one horse at a time.

Hope winning form never drops the old site in favor of the beta. Every noow and again they throw me a cuurve ball by importing the pdf form for the day.

Computaform would be my sole publication if it had the complete record of a horse and didn't need ocr to decipher their pdf text

There is no site that caters for manipulating the data on a pc or spreadsheet - which is a huge shortcoming imo.
