My point exactly Dave. There are correlations with what was being done behind the scenes at the Emerald Cup by Vaal trainers and the Rupert/Snaith behind the scenes involvement for the Queens Plate.

Significantly neither involved the operators.

What a lekka memory, thanks Bob. It's amazing that this horse was never in the picture until the last 100m. Was stone last turning into the straight, but thats the way he ran. That made my morning

Was it National Spirit who won start to finish with something like 61.5kg? I think he broke the course record. 2005???
