wonderlawn was owned by fieldspring racing and trained by d kannemeyer.the mother was velvet green who was trained by m de kock and it was a gr1 winner if my memory serves me right.wonderlawn eventually ended up with de kock in dubai.

.....a 1st foal.....dam won a listed handicap ....while he was in the belly.... sold for US$2.4BAR.....and raced in Ireland before being exported here.... :oops:

Who remembers Key of Destiny?Think the purchase price was around R15000 and ended up winning plenty.

Key Of Destiny won first time out for Collin Lee. Its one of two horses that I know of that has won a Derby over 2400 and also to win a Grade 1 feature over 1200m. The other being Earl Of Surrey who also won the Golden Horse Sprint just like Key Of Destiny.
