Race 7: Lets Twist was supposed to run a couple of weeks ago and the meeting abandoned due to weather. I find it incomprehensible that Phumelela stage springtime meetings with a late start when there is at least a 50% chance of a thunderstorm in the late afternoon every day at this time of year. Surely it would be best to start these meetings at 11am and finish at 4pm? It’s all very well catering for the international time slots, but the overseas audience will soon get fed up with interrupted or abandoned meetings half the time.
She has had a nice break, and reportedly is maturing well. She has a long way to go to emulate her half sister( Silvan Star) but must have a good ew chance if not needing the run. Redberry Wood and Angelic the two main rivals and this could be a cheap boxed trifecta.

Peter D. It is a mistery why these times. Trainers not happy that Baby's must run under lights , it just doesnt make sense.
Remember once before they had a start off time simalar to this, off I went to the course only to get there 15 minutes before the 1st race and no one had told the caterers so paid for food that was a buffett sitting since 12h00.
Does the Mauritian meeting not have something to do with it, they want us to play Mauritius to boost the pools and then go on to Kenilworth and end with Turfontein. Just a question as last race at Mauritius is 15h05.

If they get that far include picadilly square in larger bets - jockey fought her for most of the way last time - if she is allowed to stride will be handy and could hang on to fill a place - I'm not sure she can win as I think Mable Syrup is a division above her
