guys, entering these competitions is a LOTTERY.... sometimes u are a star other times a DISASTER !

Believe it or not, even I have won a competition or 2 in the past, & I'm the shittest tipster in town.

It only takes one 40 / 1 shot to put u on top of the log.

In my opinion, yes.

That win over the older horses like New Predator etc came in miserable conditions which flattered him. The form of that whole day has not stood up. Another example is Mrs O who ran way above her rating when she finished second behind Bella Sonata - look what's happened to Mrs O since then. She's a Giver too - dismal run there but showed her real ability on Summer Cup day.

Cascapedia also battled in the going and ran a 4th but came out and won on better going NTO.

Was reported somewhere as a "doubtful starter".

But it's an ante post thing so they don't care and we hear absolutely nothing. And people wonder why general interest in the game is fading. It's because "they" don't understand what's important to us. It's exactly this that is part of the build up to a race, not jumping castles on race day or Telly Track propaganda over and over and over.

It happens the world over. Despite all the coverage he would not run in the Arc, I remember Frankel listed on the ante-posts until final acceptances. It was a big price tho'.
