That's why I got the feeling - going to be very difficult to come out on top today ---- I won't be playing even a fraction of my normal wagers here.

Crawford's comments:
Vice Versa – needed her debut has come on and should prefer the 1000m
Super Performer – working well but needs to improve on current form
Mind Blowing – improved from debut, in good form include in perms
Destiny Dutchess -has a each way chance
Baroness Mary – working very well expecting a good run
China Pearl – honest filly will run well again
Make It Raine – doing well include in all perms
Supreme Orator – doing well I’m expecting an improved run
PA 1,2,3,4/4,10,12/5,6/6/2,7/3,4/3,6

Race 1: Pumeza has the best form but returns from quite a long break so some fitness doubts. Vice Versa debut was not great but she did encounter some interference and was green, so could show big improvement. There has been betting support for Sunshine Mint and she would not have to be a star to win this. Spam Alert drops back in trip and must be respected.
Race 2: Photocopy drops back in trip and is the horse to beat in a weak field. We have Turnberry running- has been gelded and will need this run.
Race 3: Inertia is on the up and gets the best draw, but will face a stern challenge from Washington Square. These two are the pick. Mind Blowing has the worst of the draw but should improve significantly from a fair debut. This looks a very open race - 1,3,5,6,7 are also in with a shout.
Race 4:The three year olds Tease, Sommersonne and Lady Sutton should fight this out, and Destiny Duchess could earn a minor cheque.
Race 5: Baroness Mary is the one to beat in an open race. Sister Soozie and Luna Child next best.
Race 6: Another open race. Swift Dancer has most scope for improvement, while Make it Raine and Sassy Lady are consistent. Sassy Lady beat Hoist the Mast last time and that form well and truly franked on Saturday. We have Sun at Midnight who always tries hard and she also has an ew chance. We have dropped Sylvanite in trip as she has been pulling over further and hopefully the faster pace will allow her to settle. This is on the sharp side for her but she has dropped significantly in the ratings and could spring a surprise off a handy galloping weight.
Race 7: Of my three runners I prefer Princess Vicky- she is improving every run and is running off a fair rating. Cape Charlotte beat us over the Durbanville 1200m at our penultimate start, but I think that we can turn the tables this course and distance. I think that the favourite Raya Baya will struggle to give 3 kg to us, although she is a nice filly. Step Out has her second run back from an injury, and she will have come on from her last start. She is ideally looking for further and may just need this run to get to peak fitness, but has a definite place chance. My other runner, Romantic Crusade is in with a shout, although it seems Raya Baya is the stable elect.
Race 8: Anything can win this.
