Race 1: Georgina (3) 33-10 . Not easy to back since been off form. Hinted at some return to form when close up second to Blue Jasmine - followed up with 3rd place finish lto and will be hard to beat if finding earlier promise.
Race 2: Five Wilds (2) 22-10 Mighty Mercury, Five Wilds and Wolf Killer. - Mighty Mercury Perfectly placed by the trainer - and fitted with Cornell Collar today, has a chance - yet to establish performance over this trip, and assess effect of CC. Fives Wild dropped from 200K race into maiden last , had some trouble in the 200K race and was backed in to 6/1 from 20/1 lto on maiden run when hanging on the bend. Should be fitter today - although may go too fast under the first time blinker strike? Wolf Killer looked to have struggled to find his trip and now imo will be best at this trip - can improve. Epic Sword also in the minors at this trip from longer. Should be close between the top two - caution advised since very weak contestants. The only stand out here is that M.Roberts considered one of the contestants good enough for the 200K KZNJP
Race 3: Prince Of Promise (5) 5-1 Prince Of Promise, What A Moon, Obvious Child - Prince Of Promise impressed first run back and should improve further over the trip. Obvious Child and Eccelerate will be looking to retain some of their last races - either can win if improving - but more likely to repeat or regress. What A Moon should improve if fit. Twister Vortex and Code Of Values others to watch. --- all the while Sherman could one day wake up and find the form that found him behind eye's wide open - since he get's into the race. The stable is not enjoying a rich vein of form though.
Race 4: Winter Model (4) 5-1 Only the two stood out here in what is really a weak race - so any amount of improvement from anything could be enough to win. Winter Model and Hidden Thought. Good Improvement was expected from Winter Model last time and was duly backed from 18/1 into 9/1 - was beaten by Song Of Mitu on the day - expect that improvement today from this one. Hidden Thought the best of the rather moderate rest - but Aiden's Porsche - if improving further, Incomodation and Khadine also have scope to improve to the front of affairs here.
Thats the maidens - not very appealing.
Some action possibly around Brighteyebushytail, and Mind Your Business later on?

If you want trust, trust others. If you want respect, respect others. If you want love and peace in your life, give them away. If you want great friends, be one

Handicaps especially low handicaps are less about form, than which horse has now shed enough points to try and win---usually use the market as a guide on these.
The card looks like a nightmare again --- not going to repeat yesterdays mistake. I will get interested when Prince Of Promise and Brighteyebushytail races arrive. --- will make decisions then.
