I think the answer to the “Mayfair speculator” purchases lies in where OTA looked. The results at the bottom of the live feed was the 2017 results last night. That error was only corrected this morning when it was changed to the 2018 results.

Dont know what Bob and OTA have done but now they are not updating the prices and the purchaser as they have been the who day.

Maybe now they are double checking - Bladdd.... holigans

True - However I must say when I went to the farm , as wealing the Flower Alley's looked head and shoulders above the SFR baby's .

I have huge faith in SFR and cant wait for Nationals when the Wilgerbosdrift & Mauritzfontein draft come up for sale .

.....This Flower is not easy to mate as multiple lines of Mr P need many more lines of BR not found on this farm....did spy one at this sale or maybe the next..... that has a more balanced picture but cant find my notes or reference to it at the moment..... :blush:

Probably wrong thread but just watched a 360000 gns horse winning a 5 grand race
Won well but introduced to racing on an all weather track in the snow

....not shy this guy.....hope its not another Silver Coin that battled to win a MR72 a good few runs after winning 1st time out..... was the sales topper in its year.. :unsure: ...then a again when you paying in pounds..... ZAR6BAR is chump change.... :dry:

.....but good on theses guys.... the breeder and CTS boys must be chuffed.....the internationals did them a big solid.... ;)....again.... :blush:

Disappointments at the sale:

of the 18 withdrawals some high profile babies

Lot 170 - all viva offspring have been very expensive.
Lot 140 - Scat Daddy baby. was part of the marketing for the CTS
Lot 61 - Equal Stripes baby

.....not too shabby...Average down by 27.5% and median 29%.... :unsure:

...however judging from the buyers profile there still seems to be a market polarization in that certain buyers still refuse to touch the Jooste tainted pot.... :dry: .....more so the 18 mares with foal.... :ohmy:
