Just guessing - runs on Saturday in the Tony Ruffel, but seemingly stable mate Yakeen is the right one - still at double the odds, could be some value

Great stuff HW.
Now to try and find where the early value lies.

I think Gold Standard will improve, the Met prep did not go according to plan but maybe being an entire is half the problem. Horse has ability but maybe 25/1 is a little skinny considering.
Beyond the obvious, Crowd Pleaser has got to be good value at 100/1.......

He looked awful going to post on Saturday and it's my opinion that he is not sound.
Would need to get back to the never of soundness he displayed at 3.
For me, not to be touched right now.

Which are "likely" and how would you price them, Peter?
Would be very helpful to know if anyone knows of horses that look not likely to participate.
So far Last Winter (overseas campaign) and Oh Susanna (not likely to come for season) - any others?

What goes into the equation?
1. Chances of winning the TC?
2. Chances of winning the July?
3. TC is a once in a lifetime opportunity?
4. Which is more prestigious?
5. What are the connections ambition for the horse...overseas etc?

If he goes for the TC(or if he skips the mile and goes straight for the classic) will Delpech be on him or will he take a De Kock horse?

From SP:
With Snaith Racing still riding the crest of a wave after their 2018 Sun Met day accomplishments, there has been sustained speculation about the future campaigns of Gr1 Majorca Stakes winner Snowdance and Gr1 Sun Met winner Oh Susanna in particular.
Justin and the team are grateful for the interest and excitement Saturday’s results have generated – racing is, after all, built on champions – and started by confirming firstly that both fillies have taken their races well.
Secondly, having had an opportunity to discuss matters with Jack Mitchell, Gaynor Rupert and the Drakenstein Stud team, they confirm there are no plans for an international campaign for either of the horses at this stage.
Speaking on behalf of the stable, Jono Snaith confirmed that export plans were off the table until progress on South Africa’s export protocol had been achieved.
The immediate plans are for both horses to be rested and then begin preparation for the Durban season.
With the ante post betting having opened for this year’s Gr1 Vodacom Durban July, the stable is aware that Snowdance in particular is being offered at generous odds. They would like to advise punters that Snowdance will not be entered for this year’s July as she is not distance suited. However, she will be pointed at the Gr1 Jonsson Workwear Garden Province Stakes.
The programme for Met winner Oh Susanna is still under discussion with Drakenstein Stud. While she will be entered for the July, a definite decision will only be taken after the Gr1 Woolavington Stakes, so the stable are advising punters to exercise caution.
For those with an interest in the ante post market, they are suggesting African Night Sky, who did not incur a penalty for his Met run and will come into the July on 53kgs, as well as Gr1 Investec Cape Derby runner up, Do It Again.
