I will find out
It stormed in Pmb as well. More thunder and lightning than rain. Parts of Pmb does not have electricity at the moment (nothing unusual I might add).
The 27mm pen reading that Pirates is speaking of, is probably the result of the heavy rains that Pmb received between 4.00am to 6.00am on Thursday morning. That was heavy with low lying roads flooded etc.

Hi Clanners, can anyone get the Duncan Howells stable comments for today? His website seems down & the info is always spot on. Cheers

Race 5, John Nel sends the difficult but talented Le Harve out for his second run for the stable.
He moved over from the outside draw to the inside on his debut for the stable and was only beaten by 1.15 lenghts. The handicapper dropped him by 2 points. It is worth noted that Nel replaced his regular Jockey with Yeni.
This could be my banker for the day

Scottsville Sunday
Race 2: (3) Arrano – good work in blinkers. May need further.
Race 3: (4) Pharoah’s Tiger – shown some improvement. Quartet chance.
Race 3: (13) The Sunrise – hasn’t shown at home. May need the run.
Race 4: (1) Hirohito – stays well. Still green but can be right there.
Race 6: (4) Baltic Amber – over raced early last run. At best can finish in the first three.
Race 7: (4) Legend – if staying the distance will be very competitive.
