R1 Lesliespathtofame for me. Last race all that beat him when possibly in need of the run were drawn down the outside and I think that formline may be a decent one. (That day I had a full go on power of Place so will choose the gvz runner based on that.

R2 No bet race for me, can make a case for a few, makes things more complicated is Tarry's first timer. So one to watch for me.

R3 Too much available on Trip to Heaven for me to raise the alarm bells. If he was really a good thing then why is he 16/10? Could and probably will shorten further but not for me. Pure Blonde for me makes a bit of appeal and could be the value. On a line through captain Aldo seems pretty well in despite the aforementioned. Captains causeway possibly some place value.

R4 Not much between the top 3 in the market. My preference is for seeking gold being by golden sword this is her ideal trip.

R5 Field race, Gambado may be able to find a place.

R6 Who knows. Van Halen and bold eagle maybe? (The latter I'm sure will be the double horse from race one if LPTF gets it right.)

R7 Frankly, again I think will be the double horse if pure blonde can get it right. (Il play that double.)

R8 Onamission the value for me. Arissa be thereabouts too imo.

R9 Agree with Frodo Vicomte a bit of value. Best kept secret looks to be finding her feet, but against the boys I don't know. Downtozero and Mrs O also warrant inclusion.

R10 Agree re Imperial ounce.

Seriously good race meeting this!

Race 1 - Smoke looked immaculate in the parade ring on debut and if in the same space is the one to beat. Peppermint Tea the biggest danger on form And Leslie’s Pathtofame should be involved. Money for Wiid horse is interesting.

Race 2 - agree with the guys that Kentucky Blue has it all in favor here and is my pick. Ensemble been a touch disappointing but will break her maiden and wouldn’t be surprised if that’s today. De Kock horse has a bit to find while Tarry first timer needs respect.

Race 3 - not sold on Trip To Heaven. Punta Cana the obvious danger but I’d be on Captain’s Causeway each way. Loves running fresh and has ability. Green Pepper hasn’t really kicked on and needs to prove her ability.


Race 4 - tough race to gauge, Witchcraft has let the side down a few times but I’m retaining the faith and booking of Lyle a positive. Patchitupbaby in the same boat but carries serious weight here. Bindiblu progressive and the biggest danger. Seeking gold carrying no weight can cause problems.

Race 5 - competitive Egoli Mile, Alshibba the obvious one but too short. Gambado has place claims with his run behind Majestic Mambo. Soldier On was given a terrible ride latest and although up in class, could be dangerous. Infamous Fox won extremely well last time and if going on from that will have a say under a low weight. Soldier On my tentative pick.

Race 6 - Storm Bird Stakes looks impossible. Really liked the way that Rule The Night won on debut, likewise with Bold Eagle. Van Halen was made to look average latest and I think that may be the case. William the Silent won well on debut but rumour is stable companion is better. Azzie and Dawson both think their horses are decent. Field race possibly!

Race 7 - miss Khalifa looks a standout here, if reproducing debut run she will be very hard to beat. Dagmar is interesting from an e/w perspective. Money for Frankiy must be respected but she isn’t a big filly and I’d be slightly cautious.

Race 8 - Bauhinia HCP looks another impossible race. Federico’s Dream and Covererd in Snow the leading principles but closely matched with Winter Watch, Arissa, Myfunnyvalentine. I would include Lawdy Miss Clawdy and Flaming Mad. Both are huge prices but could have a say, especially flaming mad who is unexposed.

Race 9 - really excited about Seven Lives, the way he won last time was extremely classy! Down to Zero and Lobo’s Legend closely matched on form and should be there.

Race 10 - the last race looks a difficult maiden. Imperial ounce is preferred. Good C and D form and comes out of an extremely strong form line. Also cracks a draw for the first time in a while. De Kock first timer and Till Dawn dangers.
