Pas De Quoi won three Grade 1s after returning from stud but he was not infertile.

Yep. same year Flaming Rock (also 7) came back from short stud stint to place in the Schwepps and July before returning to stud.

For a sound horse, showing zest but only finding limited support at stud, or in this case , infertilty,
I guess it can be done.
Wouldnt like seeing him run for the sake of it though, nor with any niggling injuries, nor if he was less that back to best in training.
