For what it's worth here are my picks for the Grand National. There will probably be serious egg on my face after the race but I will be in good company!
Not interested in Total Recall or Anibale Fly - both unproven over the trip and contested the Gold Cup at Cheltenham in mid March. And now they want to go 34f a month later? Not for me.
Shantou Flyer - Aged 8 and carries 3lbs less than last year.
The Last Samurai - Aged 10 & carries 4lbs less than last year when placed
Delusions Of Grandeur Aged 8
Raz De Maree Aged 13
I Just Know Aged 8
Milansbar Aged 11
From what I can judge all of the above will actually see out the distance and like the going. Not sure about their jumping.
Have backed all of the above
History suggests that the best age to win the National is between 8-10 although there have obviously been exceptions.

Well done Dave... I can't find a winner in a 4 horse race... To find it in the National is not something that happens every year... Well done... Enjoy a JWB or 2...
