how can you take out 3 horses chances and still keep 1st place..surely there must be a rule in place for what looked to me like reckless riding on lerenas behalf and place the horse last..please i know that the answer will come back that the 2nd horse couldnt have beaten the winner so please answer my question on reckless riding and impeding 3 horses..maybe karel can post the stipes report for us as i am sure brandon got a holiday for his efforts

The Stipendiary Stewards Reported (ER) : LONDON GUEST (* B Lerena) : The winner. Selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A Rivalland advised (TK).
As a result of the Starter’s Report concerning TAMARINO BAY (J Samuel), the Board, acting in terms of Rule 61.5.10.2 declared TAMARINO BAY to be have been withdrawn as a result of the Handler failing to release TAMARINO BAY when the start was effected.
At approximately the 50 metre mark LONDON GUEST (*B Lerena) shifted outwards away from the whip carrying AUTUMN FROST (K Shea) outwards on to MAGICAL BALLAD (C Orffer) who in turn made contact with SKY BLASTER (J Lloyd) resulting in these three horses becoming cramped for galloping room for a number of strides. A race review was called by a Stipendiary Steward regarding this incident and after reviewing the patrol videos from the various angles were of the opinion that although the interference was significant, that but for the interference none of the effected horses would have beaten the winner and in view of this decided to take no further action and allowed the Judge’s result to stand.
Apprentice B Lerena was suspended for a period of ten days for a contravention of Rule 62.2.7 in that as the rider of LONDON GUEST he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to the horses AUTUMN FROST (K Shea), MAGICAL BALLAD (C Orffer) and SKY BLASTER (J Lloyd) in the latter stages (suspension dates to be advised).
At approximately the 200 metre mark Jockey K Shea the rider of AUTUMN FROST accidentally dropped his off side rein

Interesting viewpoint (none of the affected horses would have beaten the winner); apparently the trainers/jockeys agreed, because they did not object themselves?
