To be honest, the Germans may have saved themselves the humiliation against the Brazilians in the next round, after this evening performance, had they progressed, i think the Brazilians would have gained sweet revenge, considering the absolute lame performance the Germans put up.

I will say, unless you are Ronaldo or Messi, there is very little hope of playing at the World Cup at 28/29+, you are just not competitive. This was an ageing German squad.
