After watching the first 70 minutes of last nights game I remembered why I rarely watch soccer. Diving, dropping to the ground like they have been shot for a nudge, screaming and swearing at officials. Very pleased to rather watch Rugby and Cricket.

True and now Sky Sports are keeping Carragher on even after he spat at a 14 year old.

Agree Shrek, those Colombians were a disgrace.Raking the penalty spot and their coach elbowing Sterling when he left the pitch summed up their mentality.

We all know what he did was disgusting, but what has that got to do with a World Cup thread.
Sky aren't even showing the games.

After the two day break to get our breath back, what are the views, who do you see winning within 90 minutes, which games look like going into extra time?
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

I have a feeling the only game that will go into extra time is the Uruguay vs world cup champions.
