I have a busy day with 6 runners- all long prices so no pressure.
Race 1 : Rockof Asia best of the raced runners but watch the first timers
Race 2: Grand Silvano the one to beat. Improvement expected from Metropolitan. Cyber Law and Photocopy always a threat. Tough ask for Potawatomi from wide draw. We believe that Hundreds is much better than he has shown to date, but again draws wide.
Race 3: Teutonic Knight looks well in here and is the one to beat in a very open race.
Race 4: Dream Dancer looks much better than her rating of 70 and is the one to beat with normal improvement. Many with chances. Sun at Midnight has been below best recently, and has to give weight to all. She is fit and well and will enjoy the sting out the ground.
Race 5: An open race where my first choice has been scratched. Shall be Free ran a decent race over this trip and is fit and well. He is probably better over further, but if they go a good pace he has a chance to run at them.
Race 6: Star of London surprised us last time when easily winning what we considered a prep run. On pedigree she wants further but she has earned a shot here. I think that she is a serious contender despite her 20/1 price tag.
Race 7: Rainbow Bridge should improve further and will be tough to beat despite the draw. Rocket Countdown needed his last run and will challenge. Ancestry can upset. Morning Catch and Doublemint should be included in quartets.
Race 8: Fresnaye looked to need her last run, and should give Fourie the feature double. Platinum Class will fight it out. Made in Hollywood is on the upgrade and should earn. Freedom Charter has a wide draw, but with a bit of luck could sneak a place.
Race 9: A very tricky last leg. Step Out has never regained her form after her injury a year ago, but is now off a very low rating, and could defy her long odds.
Hopeful has a good draw and consistent form. Kamaishi is capable but has a very wide draw.
