would wait first to see if she runs as i hear its 50 50

This could be long, humor me.

After Oh Susanna won, did you guys hear Grant, "I'm sticking with this one", with a big grin to boot. Remember he rode African Night Sky last time out, so would have a good idea what was "under him".

Snaith has a huge problem because it's entirely where the respective owners (would) want their charges to run. In no order of preference, (Oh Susanna owned by Drakenstein Stud), (Do It Again, Messrs, Jonsson, Kantor and Mitchell), and (African Night Sky, Crabbia, I think).

MY opinion, Snaith, if he had the choice, would not want them to compete against each other, but as we know, most owners would love to win the VDJ, that (realistic winning) chance doesn't come around too often.

However, if Snaith could keep them apart, he could still keep everyone happy by winning each a Grade 1, if that possibility exists.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Not sure he is in the class of the others but made to conquer was very impressive yesterday and he is lightly raced......
Food for thought
