Off a 112 he is a pointer IMO.
I have looked at the NHRA website at the merit ratings and would love to know how the handicappers rated the Cup Trial. ANS went up 4 points but Crowd Pleaser and Platinum Prince remained unchanged. ANS beat both by less than a length. I was under the impression you would look at around 1 point per every 0,5 lengths so in that case AFS should have only gone up 2 points to a 110. Surely the handicapper should only look at the result and not how easily the horse could have won or past results.
