Have not been a member for many a year and would not encourage anyone to join - not sure what the 'maiden plate incentive bonus' covers - I thought it only covered very few maiden plates - so the chance of your maiden actually running in one of those races are slim - and I can't see any other advantage to join - and anyway I would not join an organisation whose leader earn R3 million a year and does very little imo for the members of his organization ....
But I'm open to being convinced regarding the 'fantastic job' they are doing

....getting people involved or re-involved with horse ownership is a very tough sell.....with the middle market all but destroyed the current economic climate.....and then the POLITICS of horse racing starting with the RA ...PHUM.... NHA ....stakes.... strikes.....training fees....jocks wanting more on top of stakes.....the major incentive for me to get involved.....is the POLITICS....I'd love to have a say as an official stake holder....I'd like to try and work with the RA PHUM NHA to help them try solve the f@ck @p that they have created... :S

....what are the..... "Fair Value Gains"...as this accounts to their total profit.....why the split between "company" and "group"....they pay rental to PHUM.....yet receive a rental income.....to whom are they renting out some of their space....

....OK since the RA okes are either still in apathetic denial.... fast asleep or dont care about these matters.....found out that the "Group" is RA+ Ranjies.....company is RA alone but no mention of the "Trust"....which is where the "Fair Value Gains" is the annual share dividend of the "Trust" ...
...The R A pays approx ZAR4K/month rental to PHUM for the Whitehouse offices at Turffies..... while PHUM pays a mere 2K a month for the rental of Ranjies training Centre.....
...The RA inherited Ranjies as it was once owned by the now defunct racing clubs....yet the trainers pay PHUM for stable and facilities rental.......we also see that ZAR77BAR was "loaned" to Ranjies by the RA on the previous 2016 financials....what was this used for....
