Spousal abuse is a social problem which is prevalent in a large number of nations throughout the world. Though spousal abuse can affect both genders, as per reports, it is generally women who suffer more than men. Lack of modern education, highly patriarchal societies, social norms biased towards males, lack of financial independence, etc., are some of the many reasons favoring spousal abuse.

Disappointing to lose, but proud to have reached a semi final. We just lacked the killer instinct after going a goal up and Croatia deserved it with their second half performance.
I expect some teasing and piss taking..But the three idiots who think we like to beat up our wives, look at yourselves.

Hard luck DTF,at least England made it a lot further than they normally do. Croatia seemed to believe in themselves more than England did.

I'm not English so I'm not defending anyone here but you so right we need to look at ourselves. We saw on TV how the Kaizer Chiefs supporters where hitting and kicking a female security guard. And what's even worse than women abuse is the rape in this country, one of the highest if not the highest in the world. And to top things off we can't even walk on the streets after dark without constantly looking over our shoulder.Murder, rape, hijackings and house burglaries are so prevalent that more often than not they don't even make the news.
