Now over a shorter distance and should be too strong for its field.

I am tired of losing my money on this horse. Never again!!!

With that jock up unfortunately they going to lose more often than win.
Not sure what the stable stats are with Simons riding but I would guess a good deal worse than when Delpech was riding for them.

Nothing wrong with Simons imo - not in Gavin's league, but his strike rate is pretty much on par with Hewitson, Khumalo and Srydom and Yeni B)

This season Simons is lying in 23rd place in the jockey log with a 9% strike rate.
And that is riding for the powerful De Kock stable.I wouldn't call those good stats.
It's like Cheyne not riding for the Greeff stable, where would he be in the jockey log?

Shadlee Fortune,Julius Mphanya,Sandile Mbhele,Liam Tarentaal,Bryan Claasen,Evert Pheiffer and Billy Jacobson all have better strike rates than him and none of them have the privilege of being the number one jockey to any stable never mind the De Kock stable.

....Simons is a highly talented jock.....however he lacks that killer instict to be a champion....has the the best seat and hands in the business....I once approached him to try represent him as he has the talent to go international......told me he was happy earning an average income....
