Another week closer to the festival and all i can do is emphasis the importance of the ante post market where horses like Apples Jade and Min are in multiple markets (beware)
At this stage if you fancy an ante post stab
I rate the following 4 runners as potential bankers at 40/1 ish ATC
Buveur Dair 2/1
Altior 9/20 (best banker since Arkle)
Paisley Park 22/10
Sir Erec 18/10
More to follow
Good Punting

I think the Gold Cup is quite open.
So have decided to have a bet on Kemboy @9/1.
Good form, still improving and Willie Mullins wouldn't run him if he didn't think he was good enough.

Building up to a cracking but probably one of the most open Festivals in recent memory. In past years, you usually had a clear Ruby/Mullins favourite in the Supreme Novices, Champion Hurdle and Mares Hurdle but its much more open this time.
My Antepost bets thus far.
Gold Cup - Clan Des Obeaux, 7/1 and 17/2 and Thistlecrack 14/1
Supreme Novices Hurdle - Al Dancer 7/2
Triumph Hurdle - Sir Erec 18/10
Stayers Hurdle - Paisley Park 22/10

The GC is indeed a very difficult race to asses and many more easier options for a punt.
Just because it is the Gold Cup and my punter blood has to be sucked, i am going to give Might Bite another chance.
The trainer is also not sure what has gone wrong and he has tried a few options and feels he is a happier horse and working very well.
So a win on the bite around 18/1 will do me.
I wont take the ew as its either back to best or not.
At MOMF
I am glad you also agree with Sir Erec and Paisley Park and barring accidents this pair should start around evens .
Good punting

Well i think we can be sure that the champion hurdle is where the top 3 in the betting are heading and that the false prices on Apples on other events can be ignored so other actual runners are worth a punt ??

Angels Breath runs today, not really shown he can beat Al Dancer and Fakir Doudairies in the Supreme?
However highly regarded by connections and an impressive performance at Kempton today could see him go back to fav from 6/1 currently on offer
Good punting
