I know WSB have a team working the early Aus races, I think it’s the only place you can punt the “ off the card “ races

are these pools comingled or are there seriously punters that start punting at 6am in the morning? Why are the win pools so big if it's only online punting ....surely there must be some type of comingling here and maybe the experts are presenting for other regions of the punting world also? Perhaps I'm naive or out of touch but I dont really know anyone who punts on this stuff.. in the totes i see the guys punting every venue but at 10 am there are 5 people in the tote

3 mins to go - surely there must be some comingling of pools from different regions outside of australia at 7am because tab australia has a win pool of about $1800 which is about R18000 or so for the same race

The pools are commingled. I think they are three different totes in Australia. Ours I think is commingled with Tabcorp.

....an ex-Phum employee told me that there is over a ZAR BAR punted daily into the co-mingled Ozz pools before 10am....:blink:

Then my question is why so much money on win/place and almost nothing on exacta trifecta etc

sw R3883 - thats all R20 tote punters and also that R6790 - the exacta must be commingled

My point perhaps is Phumelela should tell punters which pools are comingled - maybe they do via teletrack but I have no idea - and what conversion rate is used to the Aus $ and do outside punters that bet into these in other pools get some form of rebate ?

......there are only Trifecta and swingers poo;ls and the odd Jackpot after 10am which are not co-mingled.....thus not supported plus this is mainly gynea cart sh!t as flat racing is often not available unless it is late afternoon /evening events from Toowoomba Pakinham Moonee Valley and Cranbourne venues on Wednesday Thursday and Friday.....the smart money is online betting into co mingled Win Place and Exacta before 10am.....
