Sly, am with you with Boutique in the 2nd. Watched her debut a few times. From the 12 draw over the 1200 on the inside track at Turffontein is a huge obstacle. Was slightly slow and had no option but to be taken to the back of the field. Was almost a dozen lengths behind turning into the straight and ran on nicely without being punished. She was very green and if she has come on from that debut she will be very hard to beat unless there is a special first timer. The 7/2 was very generous IMO and hope Alec's good form continues.

Don't think the Azzie's had a clue that one was going to win.
The one they backed from 10's into 4 at one stage did have
the handbrake riding it though.

I missed that - Marco is riding work there and has 20% strike rate while Habib has had 3 rides last season(1 this season) with 0% so the stable elect was the winner - should have noticed that :sick:
