My team is selected already, chomping at the bit.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Don't have a reserve team, we only allowed two changes for the entire tournament, and it must be like-for-like, so a hint, I have an Afghanistani wicketkeeper.

Going to be very difficult to settle on a final eleven. So many choices with so many good players. My angle is to make sure that i have 4 players that will compete in the final. Thinking of changing the ruling to three changes as two is very tight especially if you lose a player to injury.

Think that only playing for positive points is the right way to go as the last cricket comp that we had was a bit of a damp squid because of the negative point structure.

How do you propose that? Example, i am gambling that England make the Final, so i have two Englishmen in my team/11, plus one from the other finalist - or can the opposition in the finals also have two players considering there is only 10 countries participating.

The make-up of my team is :-

01. Batsman - West Indies
02. Batsman - Australian
03. Batsman - Indian
04. Batsman - English
05. Batsman - South African
06. All-rounder - English
07. W/keeper - Afghanistani
08. Bowler - New Zealander
09. Bowler - Sri Lankan
10. Bowler - Pakistani
11. Bowler - Bangladeshi

Is this not the intention of the team selection?

my planning will be two players from each finalist (thats if they reach the final) re your question yes as two team compete so if you have say 2 from England and 2 from Australia and they make the final then you are smiling. (remember you can 2 max from any one team, you dont have to have a player from every single team. Your make up can be 2 players from just 5 teams and one more. If you make a change your change for example, take out Gayle you dont have to replace him with the same countryman but the same discipline ie batsman. Also note that the two player per team applies even with player changes.

Bayern, i think you under the impression that you have to have one player from each country and no more than 2 from a country... as i understand it, you dont need to select a player from every country, just cant have more than 2 from one country...
