R5, Aldato is very much alive despite the betting.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

A bit of rain about, but I don’t think it will have much impact
Race 1: Captain of Stealth looks something special and should win again. Marco Polo surprised on debut and looks next best. Minnesota Dream and Finding Camelot both look above average. Doppio Oro has 3kg pull with Marco Polo for 3 lengths so should not be far off.
Race 2 : A tricky little race. Celestial Storm has to carry a big weight but not much between her and Velvet Dawn on their last run. Western Angel may find this a bit sharp but has a shout. Nastergal having a prep and wants further but could surprise.
Race 3: Bella Summer and Louisa May would both prefer a bit further but have solid form and should fight it out. Lip Service should round out the trifecta.
Race 4: Not a very strong maiden, and any of 1-4 could win.
Gold Pact was disappointing last time, but returned blowing and with his tongue over the bit after traveling well early. He gets the tongue tie and deserves another chance, although not the best of draws.
Race 5: Another very open race and anything could win. St Vladimir has won three on the trot and looks useful but is 3kg worse off with Line Editor for 3 lengths. Cedar Man got punished for his good run over the marathon trip, and will battle to concede weight to his fellow 3yos. Grand Silvano possibly best of the older horses.
Race 6: Jailhouse Rock has been tried twice over long trips but seems better this distance- I make him the one to beat in a competitive race. Nexus is an improving younger horse and must be respected but price a bit skinny.
Race 7: Capacity Crowd takes on open company, but I fancy her to win as I don’t think that the handicapper has been too hard on her. Icon Princess and River Rhone best of the rest in another open race.
Race 8: Quite a few that would prefer a bit further, and a couple returning from breaks make this quite tricky. Meraki is well in at the weights if this is not too sharp., but many with chances.
Lanza returns from a break after a ligament strain and gelding. He has only had one grass gallop, so may just need this run, but he is course and distance suited and we are hoping for a decent run.

Early days but Marshall said this horse is in the class of William Longsword, TON and One World.

He could be better than them all. What a talent he looks.
