All workers in SA want more pay and more jobs!!! Doesnt make economic sense or am i missing something!!
When was the last time you worked for R900 PW
What a stupid comment
Not that stupid . What about the bonusses?? And housing for free ? And water and electricity for free ? And uniforms for free
How many hours di they actually work ??? And many get extra chop bonus for wins .
Do you really know what the average salary is for the lower class???
Just to give you an example . My girlfriend manage a attorney branch in a small town in freestate .... worked 40 hours a week for R1800 per month , just over R10 per hour, without any other benefits. No increase in almost 3 years.
She resigned, now stay by me , now working as the admin lady for a big fashion designer 3 days a week . Gets R20 now per hour , that means R480 per week , without any benefits ..... our grooms get more than double .... maybe i must make my own girlfriend a groom.....

Actually Bob its R900 per week with Accomodation, Lights, Water,Refuse removal, security and no travel expenses from and to work. All extras of the package. And this is the school leavers starting package with prospects of becoming assistant trainers. I had many grooms climb the ladder by hard work and dedication and they all abhorred this type of disruptive and unnecessary behavior.
Its the same as burning schools and libraries
So not such a stupid comment as i am qualified to comment on this.

Obviously nobody that is not on track knows what exactly took place - but 'nobody injured' is surely not the only issue - if property is being destroyed (as is the norm in the majority of these 'protests'), the police should enforce the law - sadly lacking in this country
Hopefully ''amicably resolved' means that agreement was reached to continue discussions at another time ....
well if they have destroyed property then I have no sympathy with their plight. Protesting peacefully will bring change, violence solves nothing it just makes the situation worse. The Police by all accounts are underpaid and thats why they dont give a hoot. Show the politicians at the polls when you next have an election as it all filters down from them.

Oh and as Ziets quite rightly says how about the 1% of stakes.
I am not sure how many companies give workers 1% of profits, none i know of!!!

well if you underpay them and give them 1% of profits then you should be ashamed. Whats wrong with paying people the right amount? or is it a question of the less i pay him the more steak and lobster I can eat. Pay the guy a reasonable wage and he will go to the end of the earth for you. Far too many greedy people in the world who want it all for themselves from the sweat and blood of others.

Julie and that other dude sits there and says "we're back after that short interruption" and carries on like normal. Tired of this nonsense honestly. Will have my last bets tomorrow and that will be me done with punting on SA racing. Don't need the aggravation in my life.

You lucky that you get your garbage collected every week, try getting it picked up once a month like some councils do in the UK
