a) On inquiry, apprentice Louis (Vintage Angel) pleaded guilty to a charge under the provisions of MTC Rule 160 A (d) in that near the 1200 metres he failed to take the necessary steps to ensure that his mount did not jostle Red Indy with the latter going in and brushing the running rail. He was suspended from riding in races for one Mauritian race meeting, this suspension to run consecutively with the one incurred in race 1.
b) On inquiry, jockey Strydom (Red Indy) was found guilty of a charge under the provisions of MTC Rule 160 A (d) in that passing the 1200 metres he angled his mount outwards and jostled Vintage Angel, resulting in the latter being carried outwards until near the 1100 metres. He was suspended from riding in races for one Mauritian race meeting.

No need to wait till next year. Zechner a huge disappointment.
Difficult to get a replacement currently.
