MDK making a comment in post race DN2000 saying Hawaam his 1st top horse since Vercingetorix or such. i still fancy Barahin but we will see this week end if he has a shout. Zietsmans analysis very useful. thx

I am in agreement with head honcho. However I have said from last year that if Rainbow Bridge runs he will win the July, even before his met run. Over the years the form of the Cape winter series has done well the following years for the july ie. Pocket Power, power king, Marineresco.
My lurker which has been shorten down now is Magnafacent 7. Young Luke to have the force with him.
Do it again to round of the quartet.
Rainbow Bridge
Head Honcho
Magnificent 7
Do it again
Witham hawaan in the mix at the back end

Already have some dbls standing with RB.
Will now cover with DIA n HH.

This is a handicap - so the best horse does not necessarily win - but the best weighted horse; for me a horse that every one seems to be ignoring is Tilbury Fort - I make him a big runner on his Summer Cup effort and comes in well weighted - very disappointing last run, but he did not seem himself that day; however on the Met run Doublemint will take a lot of beating at the weights; Eyes Wide Open another that is now well weighted

The problem with the July is the track. Its too small. Too many bad luck stories. Studying counts for less than luck in running these days. Good luck to you all.

Just a thought:
If trainers think that the July would be won by Hawaam, or if they felt that they had no chance with the MDK machine, would they now change their plans and try and win as much listed races or stakes they possibly can with their big horses before the big race?
I think that if they go down that route then the quartet in main race will pay bombs, meaning that the other top July favorites may just have a harder build up to the main race which will leave the places open to many a 50/1 outsider.

July anti post place
Surprised that hollywoodbets just offers 4places for the July
Other bookmakers now offering 5 places at ridiculously low prices
Maybe if hollywood does not get their act together, I will change my bookmaker.
Tried calling hollywoodbets, but the furthest I got was the receptionist.
Should any hollywoodbets staff reading, please bring to the attention of yr management.

Rainbow Bridge - 124 rating currently and getting 0,5kg from Do it Again. I have him running 122 in QP and with the run of the race 125 in Met. Only way he can win is with plenty luck and plenty badluck for others.
I took plenty places to finish in top 6. Now way too short in the betting.
Head Honcho - the horse i have plenty money on to run in top 6 at massive odds.
Legal Eagle - I took plenty 6/1 a place to run in top 6 .
Eyes wide Open - I took some nice places to finish top 6 in July. Can win with plenty plenty luck but will be close.
Which bookies lay top 6 a place?
Thanks
