What effect will it have on July day should either Doublemint, DIA, RB, UA win tomorrow? I think this is the key factor when structuring your bets for tomorrow? Please help.... Thanks guys...

Doublemint was not rated on his unplaced Met run, otherwise he would be 116 and not 104. He clearly needed his run last time and should be a penalty kick at the weights tomorrow. The problem we have as ante post punters is that the July weights are at the discretion of the handicapper, and do not necessarily have to follow the official MR. So, we don’t know whether Doublemint will carry 56 or 53 irrespective of tomorrow’s result.
I expect little between DIA, RB and UA at level weights over a mile, and unless one of them wins by a length or more, I doubt whether there will be any change in their ratings.
I think that UA is targeting this race rather than the July, whereas DIA and RB seem to have the July as their main focus. He has had two runs since his break, RB one, and DIA none. I think that Undercover Agent is therefore the value amongst the older horses for tomorrow, although there is no denying the class of the other two which could pull them through.
Similarly, Soqrat is targeting this one and used the Guineas as a prep.

Race 3 Candy Galore should have a decent chance off a featherweight.

Race 4 I think Special Blend could be good place value at around 5/1. Not too bad a run in the Gold Medallion 2.3 lengths off Alramz after being squeezed, bumped & unbalanced in the latter stages.

Race 5 Dark Moon Rising is C&D suited, very creditable run to Haawaam last time. Should be in the money.
Silver God seemed full of running at the 300m mark, when having to switch last time and then got cramped. Also good place value with a similar type of run.

Race 6 Oh Susanna is the class package, also has gate speed to overcome the wide draw.

Race 7 Sit back, relax & enjoy... Will be rooting for Undercover Agent.

Race 8 Will be looking to Tommy Grand & Legend to place. Both have 50% strike rate to runs in that dept. Legend continues to drop in MR.

Race 9 Walterthepenniless to improve further over the ground, which he seems to be looking for.

R3, Van Halen should be a pointer in terms of the race conditions, and based on previous runs against second favourite, Russian Prince (28/10), and third favourite, Basilius (9/2). If the ratings are correct, then Candy Galore (13/2) is under sufferance by plenty, and Hey Boy, even more so.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

With the scratching of Isikhwami Sami, the first race is wide open.... In Jest is the one that stands out for me... The only put off is the draw... If it had a decent draw, i would have been extremely bullish... however at the price, its an easy EW bet for me..... :)

Agree 100% - just to point out that imo 1800 is a touch short of Doublemint's best trip, so it would not do his July chances any harm if he were to finish a close-up 2nd or 3rd - and that surely will also keep his current MR intact .....
