Not sure if anyone agrees with me.
Love this combination, was my last leg of the p6 banker the day Hawwaam broke loose and Striker got the loot... and me the P6...

Had a look at the Gold Vase, and agree Sunshine Silk is a massive runner. Strathdon aside, then she is only one of two horses in the race not under sufferance, the other being Walter Smoothie. Walter Smoothie has been beaten twice by SS, and appears to have lost form. Not so sure Strathdon can concede 5.5kgs to SS and beat her. Think you can put a line through her last run which was way too short, however the three runs prior to that were top class.

Played the double :-

R4) Sunshine Silk X (R9) Front And Centre.

Sorry i can't give you more winners, because all y'all will beat me in Ziet's competition:whistle: :P
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Horses that can not win at the weights,
Roy Had Enough
Camphoratus
Return Flight
Zillzaal
Fresnaye
Lady in Black

Good place bets at the weights;
Made to Conquer 11/2 first 3 (6kg swing with Do It Again for 1.25 beating last July)
Head Honcho (1.5 kg swing with RB for 1 length beating)
Divine Odyssey (4.5 kg swing for 4.25 beating over 2000m)

Only highlighting long priced horses, all disclaimers apply

I agree with all of those mentioned ito 'cannot win at the weights' - and I'd add Legal Eagle and Miyabi Gold to those ...... however I also think Head Honcho has a tough task at the weights

Also agree with Made to Conquer and Divine Odyssey as solid place bets.

I have been preaching Doublemint since the Met, but things have not worked out so well for him at the comparative weights - still he will have no problem with the trip and also appeals as good place value imo; Eyes Wide Open has come well at the right time and looks really well weighted; but for the draw would be shorter than 12s - tactics will be interesting and I think Kennedy will try to use him a bit and get handy

All in all much more open than the betting suggests - the difference in odds between Hawwaam and Twist of Fate (even from that draw) is also not realistic imo ....

Thanks Frodo and spot on, keep in mind that I am also looking at the current form.

So for me Doublemint has not shown any reason to improve past expectations simply on weight. On the other hand, Made to conquer looks like coming back to best on last two runs and with the weight swing could be in the final mix.

Hawwaam's run in the Daily News was very impressive considering all the factors and he also looks like he will improve another 2 lengths on that run whereas I thought Twist of Fate was flat to the boards in a very credible second. What a horse to have bought for 20k.....

WSB has even posted prices to run last lol. Once upon a time those price types were disallowed as it was deemed to be against the principals of racing.
