Muzi seems to be one of the few jockeys who purposefully changes his crop to intimidate horses that are running on...

Some would call it clever but I dislike seeing it.

FOREHAND (WIN)

I did like Kentucky blue at first, but now think she has a place chance

Its hard to find value in an open race, because most of the time the top horses finish in the placings

Can get 5/1 on Forehand and she has the form

Might of needed the first run in the new center but was certainty not disgraced, finishing 5th only 1.15 lengths of the winner in the EAST CAPE PADDOCK STAKES (Listed)

A decent distance record
Dst: 5:1-0-2

Race 7 Seeking Wisdom has a tough task at the weights and a wide draw to overcome, but she is very game and hoping that she can sneak into the places.
Race 8 Wood for the Trees is back to a reasonable rating, and from a decent draw we are hoping for an improved run. He can be a tricky ride, but if he behaves and puts his best foot forward he could surprise. This race is wide open.

GAVIN SMITH - Numbers 6 and 7 - BRIGADOON ELY & TOM ‘N JERRY : Brigadoon Ely is improving as he matures and should be thereabouts. Tom ‘n Jerry enjoys track and trip and has a quartet chance

SHARON KOTZEN - Numbers 9 and 10 - WOOD FOR THE TREES & GREAT CRUSADE : Great Crusade needed his last and can improve. Wood for the Trees has been disappointing, he could enjoy being back on grass and is drawn well so we are hoping for better from him.

THE TWO GAVIN SMITH RUNNERS AND WOOD FOR THE TREES

BRIGADOON ELY SHOULD WIN

RINGS AND THINGS CAME TO FAIRVIEW AND IS UNBEATEN AND GOT 3 ON THE BOUNCE TODAY
