Make that 3 poor rides..... race 1 as well!.. all favourites and they all ran very bad because of Mr De Melo..

Yes none where good rides but it's a well known fact that many keep away when De Melo is riding a favorite.
Also some blame needs to go to the trainers as I don't think they did enough work at home for those shorties to run to their prices.
The first race the horse couldn't even jump out the gates properly.
Do or Dare something definitely not right as he was playing up badly behind the stalls and unseated De Melo.
And What A Thrill,not sure he would have even run a place even without the interference.
We know these are some of the weakest horses running in SA but there will always be some excuse from the trainers why the horses didn't run well.
Just imagine if the trainer said to the owners that his horse is no good,not sure there would be enough horses left here in KZN to run once a week.
