In his last run he finished 2nd last 14.5 lengths behind prior to that 3 runs stone last a distance behind!!!. I guess that is improvement!!! And he still might need it after 3 runs in Sept and 1 in October!!! The mind boggles and just very sad.
Why is it sad & whose mind does it boggle. ??
If the trainers don't give their comments, the punters whine about non transparency.
If the trainers do give their comments, the punters whine about their accuracy.
The trainers can never win on this forum. Some posters are serious punters, some are just having fun but most are professional whiners looking for every possible conspiracy theory.
The trainers can never win, hence the non committal comments, cant blame them.
Zietz does his best for us but the thanks & congrats which he, at times deserves, are very few & far between.

Tony I'm not having a go at the trainer for offering advice at all !! You are entitled to your point of view but if you dont think it's sad that they continue to persevere with a horse that runs last every week or 2nd last then I'm happy for you. I too appreciate Ziets comments and help. If that comment doesnt boggle your mind then good for you. I have always been the first to congratulate trainers for posting ( as I did a few weeks back about Mike Miller) and I too am a serious punter. So let's just agree to disagree. In my opinion that horse deserves retirement but then again just my opinion.

ZARAGOZA (E/W)
48KGS
I been following him since he has returned from a lengthy layoff
His last race was his 7start back and has shown the best improvement so far, finish 6+lengths off the winner over the 1200m
Back over the mile today and if he is back to form he could certainly beat a low Merit handicap field like this, Carrying paper weight!!

ARCTIC PARTY (E/W)
Decent 4th last time out over C/D
Best draw today in last 2starts
Should be racing handy from gate 5
In her last start the winner won by 4.25lengths so she was only 1.75lengths off second placed horse!!

Will someone just inform Computaform that the 1600m course record at Flamingo Park is 98.56 and not 89.56 as in the latest edition held by Seattle Skyline on his run on 03 Aug 2019.
And just inform them that Enceledeus has just broken the course record in a time of 97.91
WOW!

Dst: 11:2-1-1
C&D:2:0-0-0
IRISH PRIDE (E/W)
Irish pride last run over C/D Was his best effort in his last 10starts
4th place finish
2.80lengths off the winner
If Irish pride is even 80%back to his best with 48kgs (RACE OVER)
